#5802: Validation always fails?? --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: glammagod | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Medium Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: General Version: RC2 | Severity: Normal Keywords: | Php_version: n/a Cake_version: | --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- I have the following validation in my model:
''var $name = 'Team'; var $displayField = 'teamname'; var $primaryKey = 'id'; var $hasMany = array('Person', 'News', 'Fixture'); var $validate = array( 'teamname' => 'notEmpty' ); '' The validation obviously fails if the field is left blank but when the feild is not blank it never succeeds?? Is there something obvious I am missing here? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/5802> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
