#5347: Cache::write does not use duration parameter when supplied in an array -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: katremer | Owner: Type: Bug | Status: reopened Priority: Medium | Milestone: 1.2.x.x Component: Cache | Version: RC2 Severity: Normal | Resolution: Keywords: cache | Php_version: n/a Cake_version: 1.2.0.7296 RC2 | -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Comment (by kase):
PS: Fixing this bug, that it works as documented, is only one line. After extract($config); line 233 add {{{ $thisDuration = $duration; }}} You have mentioned, that you dont do the same for cache read, but why does cache read needs the duration as parameter? All CacheEngines store the duration in a special field (in the engine) and compare this to the current time. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/5347#comment:3> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
