#6101: Validate with Special Character --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: Danielpk | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Medium Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Validation Version: 1.2 Final | Severity: Normal Keywords: validate, model | Php_version: PHP 5 Cake_version: | --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- First of all, sry for bad English.
I just noticed today one bug with validate rule notEmpty. I have this rule: {{{ var $validate = array( 'nome' => array('rule' => 'notEmpty', 'message' => 'Preencha o seu nome.') ); }}} If i post some data without special character its return true. But if i send field nome(name) with José validate return false. Only when i use Special Characters. I using ISO-8859-1 encode, maybe it is the problem but i cant change charset now. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/6101> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
