Hi all After the comments we received at the MPLS WG meeting, it was decided that it was necessary to divide up draft-ietf-tictoc-1588ompls into 4 drafts. It was felt that it would be close to impossible to progress a single draft that impacts so many different WGs. So instead of the present draft, we will now have :
1) draft-ietf-tictoc-1588ompls-base which explains the problem being solved and the solution. This will remain a TICTOC WG draft, but will need to be LC'ed in TICTOC and MPLS (since it redefines MPLS forwarding behavior). It will informatively mention the other drafts, but not hang on them. There will also be three short protocol-specific drafts, all of which normatively point to the first draft (and hang on it). 2) an OSPF draft containing the proposed OSPF extensions which will be presented to the OSPF WG 3) an IS-IS draft containing the IS-IS extensions which will be presented to the ISIS WG 4) an RSVP-TE draft containing the RSVP-TE extensions which will be presented to the CCAMP WG We will LC the first draft as soon as possible. The others may take a while longer, as they will each have to go through their respective WG processes. Authors - please perform the required editorial work in order to produce the base draft as soon as possible after the meeting. Y(J)S
