Hi bwallum, > I now want to list some documents that can be > downloaded. How do I do that?
As far as I know - you can't make easily links which automatically initiate a download - but a link would open a file in a new browser window or tab. But it also depends on the file type. Zipped files, for example, would be downloaded, but pictures, pdf, html etc. shown. Of course, it still is always possible to right-click a link and choose 'save as': A link to some http directory is as easy as writing: http://www.whereever.com/filename.htm And you can prettyfy it by giving it a label this way: [[download|http://www.whereever.com/filename.zip]] The following TiddlyWikis have much help - from absolute beginner lever to advanced TiddyWiki formatting and customizing (just use the search function of the TiddlyWiki to find help on a particular subject): JeremyRuston http://www.tiddlywiki.com/ TiddlerToddler: http://tiddlertoddler.tiddlyspot.com/ TiddlyWiki Tips: http://tiddlywikitips.com/ TiddlyWiki Tutorial - the basics: http://www.blogjones.com/TiddlyWikiTutorial.html TiddlyWiki Guides: http://tiddlywikiguides.org/ TiddlyWiki for the rest of us: http://www.giffmex.org/twfortherestofus.html TiddlyWiki Help - a comprehensive guide: http://twhelp.tiddlyspot.com/ TiddlyWiki.org Wiki http://tiddlywiki.org/wiki/Main_Page Questions and Answers on TiddlyWiki: http://twfaq.tiddlyspot.com/ Regards, W. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
