So is the performance any better on IE? Santa got mixed up, and forgot to bring me an Acer this year. For reference, about how many seconds are you finding it takes to load TW, open a tiddler, edit a tiddler, "done" a tiddler, and save TW?
I've been running TW occasionally on my daughter's OLPC, running linux on a flash drive under Firefox 2.0, saving TW to a separate flash card. It takes about 2 or 3 minutes to load my 1.7 M TW, mostly because I have to keep telling the popup warning to keep loading a half dozen times or more. I'd guess it displays a Tiddler in 3 seconds or so, saves an edit in about 6 seconds.
