Hi,

*My question :*
How can I start a TW in read-only mode, without putting the "readOnly=true"
instruction in a systemConfig tiddler ?
The problem if I do this, is that TW falls back in read-only every time it
is recharged, and the "new tiddler" option in the SideBar never shows up
again.
*
The Context :*
We've started a knowledge database here (for a dept of 80 people), on a
shared drive. Only experts can write to it.

   - For some reason, I had to put "tiddlysaver.js" next to the wiki though
we use IE6 (our ICT's policy forces us to [?])
   - I've implemented tiddlylock with no problem. Now I'm sure only one
person at a time can write to it.
   - I'm no trying to grant and refuse access. I've worked in three
   directions :
      - Use of "Toggle ReadOnly" from Tiddlytools
      - Newswiki from Bidix
      - SwitchTheme from Tiddlytools (one theme would posess the write
      facilities, the other not)

*The best solution :*
I'd like to find a solution that involves the less possible amount of
"technical" tiddlers used...
