Hi Skye Are you editing the ViewTemplate in the ViewTemplate tiddler or the ViewTiddler in ThemeUnplugged?
If the former, open ThemeUnplugged tiddler, find !ViewTemplate and stick your template underneath that ... hopefully will solve your problem. Bit stumped about your other issue.
