You did create a style definition, which imo is OK for your usecase.
<div style ... >

My example uses 
<div class=myClass>

The CSS rule, that is responsible for buttons is:

button svg.tc-image-button, button .tc-image-button img {
    height: 1em;
    width: 1em;
}

So if you define your own CSS tiddler you could use the following. Since 
you only use SVG icons you can use:

.myClass button svg.tc-image-button{
    height: 2em;
    width: 2em;
}
