What does slows down mean to you? Open, close, save .. seconds? Have a look at backstage plugins table. There are some startup times. Go to Backstage: tweaks: check "Show unknown options" and check the parameter: chkDisplayInstrumentation It gives you some info at startup and when the display is refreshed. May be it gives you some hints.
