I think this is really bad advice, up-to-date browsers is most important
for security and recommending old browsers stifles a user's entire web
experience.
In my PCs I have frozen my firefox to version 11.0, until they will
remove this silly bug or provide a plugin to sove the problem. This was
the best advice that I received by a friend time ago, and I'm enjoying a
full and nice "user experience".
