Hi Manny Apologies for the delay.
Can you try the latest beta of TiddlyWiki? 1. Download the new empty.html from http://tiddlywiki.com/beta/empty.html 2. Put it in the same folder as the TiddlyWiki file from which you wish to import your old content 3. Open the 2.7 empty.html file in Firefox 4. Open your old TiddlyWiki file in a separate tab 5. TiddlyFox should pop up it's message about enabling file saving. Click "OK" 6. Open the backstage area if necessary, and click "import" 7. Copy the URL of your old TiddlyWiki file from the address bar in Firefox (it should start file://) and paste it into the 2.7 TiddlyWiki import dialogue in the box marked "Enter the URL or pathname here" 8. Click the "open" button You should now be able to import your old content, and save it in the usual way. Let me know how you get on, Best wishes Jeremy On Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 5:41 PM, Manny <[email protected]> wrote: > TiddlySaver works in the current version of Chrome. although I could not > get it to work in Firefox, it does seem to work in Chrome > > > On Tuesday, December 11, 2012 2:11:20 AM UTC-6, Conor wrote: >> >> FYI I am having the same problems with Firefox 17.0.1 on Linux/Ubuntu >> 12.04 >> >> I cannot save my existing tiddlywiki or even a newly downloaded one. >> >> I can still save with Firefox 16.0.2 on Linux/Ubuntu 12.04 so I suspect >> something changed with FF upgrade... >> >> C. >> >> On Sunday, 9 December 2012 12:19:41 UTC, PMario wrote: >>> >>> On Dec 8, 10:33 pm, Manny Mendelson <[email protected]> >>> wrote: >>> > Jeremy >>> > >>> > Thank you so much for your input.
