Hi Brian TW5 is not fully backwards compatible with TWC. The wikitext syntax is 80% the same but macros, plugins, themes are totally incompatible. So there's not yet a smooth upgrade path from TWC to TW5. My recommendation is first to explore TW5 to get a better idea of its features and capabilities -- it's developing quickly at the moment, and the plan is to develop tools to ease the migration. Also, don't forget that TW5 is not yet complete - there's still several important features that have yet to be implemented.
