The big green download button in GettingStarted works by generating a base64 data URI containing the empty version of the wiki. It doesn't actually use a server request.
I think that the reason it doesn't work in IE is because IE doesn't like large data URIs. I've adjusted the IE docs for 5.0.16 to use a direct link to http://tiddlywiki.com/empty.html instead: https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/commit/da82ff17dab20717e85febf51f91d18a4050f3f7 Best wishes Jeremy On Thu, Aug 21, 2014 at 2:25 PM, PMario <pmari...@gmail.com> wrote: > I can confirm, that it doesn't work with IE 11, win 8.1 > -m > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "TiddlyWiki" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to tiddlywiki+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > To post to this group, send email to tiddlywiki@googlegroups.com. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. > -- Jeremy Ruston mailto:jeremy.rus...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
