Is it possible to have a volatile reveal widget state? I want to press a

No, there's no way to have a state tiddler that works in that way. The
closest we've got is popup state tiddlers; they get automatically deleted
when the popup is removed. The problem is that it's easy to close a tiddler
leaving the popups within it engaged.

One strategy you might be able to use is to use the same state tiddlers for
every instance of the template?
