Okay… Then I'm out. Bash I don't like because you have to use so many other programs (cut, grep, sed...) that it's better to stick with something that has it built-in (i.e. perl). My bash - or better sh-scripts usually contain one or more included perl scripts anyway :D instead of calling awk, sed or cut.
