Hi all,

I was bored and i did a small portable TW5 server installation which could be dropped on a USB stick or somewhere else.
Maybe someone finds it useful.
I made it for myself but thought some people might find it useful.

This little package allows you to run TiddlyWiki 5 as a server portably.

1. Get the latest package (tw5win*.zip) from
http://domasofan.spdns.eu/tw5/
2. Extract it somewhere.
3. Double click run.bat.
The bat file creates a wiki if it doesn't exist, launches your browser and starts the TiddlyWiki 5 server on port 8080.
4. If your browser shows a server not found error please reload the page.
At the moment i haven't found out a way to wait for it until the server has started. Though I tried a few times but I hadn't any problems. It seems that the browser often is slower than the server. 5. to close the server again hit ctrl+c. please close your browser window first.

Known bugs:
* The script doesn't check if the wiki exists. that's why TiddlyWiki 5 shows an error message if the wiki directory has been created already. this message can be ignored. * When the browser window opens the server might have not started yet. Please reload the browser window to fix the issue.

greetings,
simon
