c pa,

Yes, if I saved with text in the search bar, that text would be there the
next time I opened the file. That behavior has been around longer than
5.1.12.

My problem is, since upgrading to 5.1.12, there is always text in the
search bar when I open TW. I have tried saving the file with the search bar
empty, refreshing, and clearing my browser cache. Yet for all that, when I
open TW again, there is my last search in the search bar. It is not a huge
problem of course, but it is rather annoying when the first thing I have to
do when I open TW is clear the search bar of my previous search before
typing in the search term(s) I actually want to use.

I assume some setting with the search bar was changed in 5.1.12, but for
the life of me I can't figure out what it is. Do you have any suggestions
as to what else I might try?

Michael
