I've been following the discussions of different techniques to use to backup your tiddlywiki from multiple devices. My primary problem is that I have become mostly an Android user, only occasionally going to my TW from a computer. This is a technique that is currently working well for me. I use two Android devices, a phone and a tablet, Andtidwiki, Dropbox and Dropsync Pro. As most of you know, Andtidwiki requires you to use a specific directory on your device. Dropsync Pro allows you to define pairs of directories to sync between your Android device and your Dropbox. I sync my andTidWiki directory on each device with a common Dropbox directory. I then specified that backups would be in both directions and that backups would be done as frequently as possible on each device. This minimizes the chance for the TW files on the two Androids becoming out of sync because of timing problems. This also allows occasional access of my TW file from my computers, if necessary. Since my computers are Linux boxes, I am able to use the native Dropbox application to sync from a Linux box to a Dropbox directory.
I hope this helps somebody else. Alan B Cohen -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
