Currently TW has no explicit support for webp. There is no reason why it wouldn't be able to support it though, you can just add "image/webp" to the list of registered filetypes in `$:/boot/boot.js` [1] and you should be good, assuming you have a browser with webp support.

[1] Hint: just open the tiddler, search for "image/png" and insert a similiar looking line for webp.
