I agree TiddlyDesktop is extremely good. It works on desktops like a normal 
application--which is a big plus as you don't need to mess about with 
saving as it does it automatically--as well as backups. 

There are a few issues with it that relate, mainly, to the fact it is not a 
full browser, its runs on the core of Chrome, but lacks some of its 
features. If you interested I recommend reading through the issues on 
Github. It has its own group there that is a manageable size.
