In which a general update on the status of all things TiddlyWeb is
made:

* A few days ago on Twitter, @tiddlyweb[1] announced that TiddlyWeb
was already in beta. This is because for all intents and purposes it
is: there's no reason to be calling it alpha any longer. TiddlyWeb is
stable and has a fairly stable API, the plugin system has proven
useful. Various TiddlyWeb installations have not exposed major
problems in the architecture. That sounds like ready for beta to me,
if not a 1.0. If you dispute this, please shout out as we'd like to
fix that which is broken.

* Today the tiddlyweb-plugins distribution, which contains the
twplugins module, was renamed to tiddlywebplugins and the module was
renamed to tiddlywebplugins as well. This module contains some useful
methods from creating TiddlyWeb plugins. You can get it from pypi[2].

* TiddlyWeb plugins are proving very flexible and useful and easy to
create.

* The TiddlyWeb home site[3], hosted on TiddlyWeb of course, has been
growing but needs help to be complete. Please visit and leave comments
or make tickets[4] about issues you would like to see documented.

* TiddlyWeb bugs and developer priorities are being tracked solely in
the TiddlyWik trac instance[5].

* The TiddlyWeb IRC channel[6] is a happening place, at least some of
the time.

Coming Up:

* A 1.0 release barring big bad bugs being bared.
* TiddlyDocs and TiddlyWeb working together.
* A laterally scalable high performance RDBMS StorageInterface
implementation for TiddlyWeb installations with large numbers of
resources[7].
* A Tiddlyspot-like service for TiddlyWeb.
* Non-TiddlyWiki examples of using TiddlyWeb for data storage.
