As Martin so aptly put it, it really boils down to 3 or not 3. So that rephrases the question as: are what are currently called filters in TiddlyWeb performing the same function as what are called filters in TiddlyWiki? I'm fairly certain the answer is no; the desired selecting/limiting/ sorting functionality desired in TiddlyWeb is both semantically and lexically different from TiddlyWiki because of the primary position of recipes and bags in the context.
