Don't think there is anything wrong with your code. The issue is probably this: - the code relies on selectionEnd, which we dont have access to since that is provided by action-popupcaret
Possible options: a) don't rely on selectionEnd for detection (though this might get inconsistent like before) b) wait for me to have time to fiddle. There is a widget I wrote for streams that should be usable to avoid these issues. I can try to find time for this tonight or tomorrow morning.
