Hello
I'm on Windows with MSYS2, I try to compile libtiff with my own
dependencies. if I pass -Djbig=FALSE, cmake detects jbig which is
installed by msys2:
-- Found JPEG: C:/Documents/msys2/home/vincent.torri/ewpi_64/lib/libjpeg.dll.a
(found version "80")
-- Performing Test HAVE_JPEGTURBO_DUAL_MODE_8_12
-- Performing Test HAVE_JPEGTURBO_DUAL_MODE_8_12 - Success
-- Found JBIG: C:/Documents/msys2/mingw64/lib/libjbig.dll.a (found
version "2.1")
-- Looking for jbg_newlen
-- Looking for jbg_newlen - found
is it normal ?
Yes, feature detection and feature activation are different settings.
-Djbig=FALSE is going to be honored, even if libjbig is found.
Cf
$ cmake .. | grep -i jbig
-- ISO JBIG support: Requested:ON Availability:TRUE
Support:TRUE
$ cmake .. -Djbig=FALSE | grep -i jbig
-- ISO JBIG support: Requested:FALSE
Availability:TRUE Support:FALSE

Hi,
Read about this release at
https://libtiff.gitlab.io/libtiff/releases/v4.7.0.html
The major highlight of this release is the re-inclusion of tools that
were removed in 4.6.0 (cf
