Hi,
I acknowledge it is a bit odd to post about a "competitor" to libtiff
(which it isn't fully since it will never be a replacement, and only
handles a subset of what is required for full TIFF usage) I've worked on
recently, but it might be useful to some in the TIFF community though,
hence this post.
All details at https://github.com/libertiff/libertiff. Three first lines:
"""
Libertiff is a C++11 simple, header-only
<https://github.com/libertiff/libertiff/blob/master/libertiff.hpp>, TIFF
reader. It is MIT licensed.
Handles both ClassicTIFF and BigTIFF, little-endian or big-endian ordered.
The library does not offer codec facilities (and probably won't). It is
mostly aimed at browsing through the linked chain of Image File
Directory (IFD) and their tags.
"""
Cheers,
Even
