I've been having some keyboard problems when connected to the tigervnc
server 1.0.90 in Fedora 13, and I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing
similar problems or has suggestions on how to further isolate or
troubleshoot this.

This most common symptoms are dropped keystrokes when mixing upper and
lower case. Sometimes, sequences using the shift key get stuck
repeating. For example:
This is a test -> This is a est
His is a hit -> His is a it
: -> :;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

I have tried 3 different VNC viewers. CotVNC, OS X Screen sharing,
and TightVNC viewers all show the same symptoms. So I suspect the
problem is on the server side, or some configuration common to all the
viewers.

There's a Fedora bug open which has more details (
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=607866 )  and Tiger VNC
bug 3032448 seems to describe something similar. An earlier thread on
this list also describes similar problems.

Any suggestions on what to do next ?

Thanks,
mike
