Hello everyone, (First post)

I have been playing around with the tiger VNC sourcecode for a few
days with the idea of using tigervnc to do remote computer service.
Currently, I can compile the server via command line with VS 2008
express with encryption enabled. I'd really like to do something like
the 1 click remote support that ultravnc can do, but with the encryption
that tiger can/will provide.

The one thing I haven't figured out how to do is cause the server
to connect to a specific ip address when the exe launches. I've been
studying how the "Add New Client" window (launched as a separate
process) sends messages via IPC_Interface, etc, but I'm getting over my
head now with the C (I mostly develop in VB.Net, and CGI languages).

Can someone give me a little direction? Also, maybe this message
is more for the developers' list....

My goals are
have defaults embedded in the exe for encryption, possibly
including certificates
have a "Do you want to connect to Brand X Computer Service"
confirmation window
remove anything that could be a security problem, (the java server,
accepting incoming connections)
store no settings on the computer, so that the exe is portable in
nature.
and release the source code, of course.

Thanks in advance,
Jason
