I have tried the 1.2 alpha branch and i see that the Linux viewer no longer has the -listen option. Also the Linux server seems to lack the -connect option for creating outgoing connections (neither does the 1.1.0 Linux version). But it does have it on Windows for both 1.1.0 and 1.1.80 versions.

Does that mean that the -listen option is gone for good or it will be included in later Linux builds? Will the -connect (i mean the functionality) option be included in the Linux server?

Don't know about -connect for Xvnc, not sure it's available in any Xvnc implementation?

For the viewer, I'd say that the missing -listen functionality is a bug. That flag is mentioned both in the syntax message as well as the man page, so I think we should add it. Migrating this functionality from the old viewer shouldn't be too hard. Can you add a bug to the SF bug tracker for this?
