Am I right in thinking that each "square" can only appear in the requests queue
once?

I was wondering if for example a ChangedTileAutoRequest was in the queue and
someone requested a higher priority rerender manually, would the
ChangedTileAutoRequest entry in the queue be removed?

The reason I'm wondering is that the queue seems to be growing longer (although
I realise that only the first 140 odd pages are requests in the last day and
then it jumps to a list of low priority missing tiles from over a week ago).
When I first found the queue page it was just over 113,000 dropping to
somewhere in the 112,000s and that has now gone back up to 115,000 and
something.

I have got a couple of Xubuntu boxes in the lounge that we don't use, but I
don't think it is worth putting the client on them as they are old machines now
and I doubt they'd do the processing before the active request timed out (6
hours I think someone said) - our fast machines are a couple of years old now
and taking about an hour, assuming there is any data in the square.
