Hi Matt -- I have a perl script, based on some code from Tom Van Baak, that does basic AVAR stuff. Poul-Henning Kemp has posted some C code to do the same thing -- you might take a look at the list archive to find that (https://www.febo.com/pipermail/time-nuts).
