It locks. It takes about 40 - 45 minutes to do it, but then it locks

I had a broken 304 once, and mine said it was made by Tracor. At one
time, I had a manual but I'm not sure if I still do. Mine would never lock.
I'll check at home tonight to see if I still have the book. Feel free
to ping me if I don't get back to you.
