I am trying to get data collected from as many time sources as
possible across the leapsecond on new years eve/day, and I would
appreciate if you guys could help me out.

The idea is to create a free public repository of data which can be used
to test computers and software for leapsecond compliance.

I have asked the GNUradio crew to help out with off-the-air samples,
and I hope people in this forum can help me out with captured data
streams from all sorts of radio receivers (WWV/DCF/GPS etc).

Maybe I can persuade Tom to lend me "test.a.leapsecond.com" domain
for the result ? :-)

Thanks in advance,

Hi Poul-Henning --

I'll be able to capture at least two HF frequencies simultaneously if you'd like, with SSB reception and audio recorded to a sound card. I'm not sure if WWVB will be strong enough with that system to decode; I'll try to log some of it ahead of time and send it to you to see if it'll work. Otherwise, I can do WWV on 5 and 10MHz, which are the most likely to have propagation heree at that time of evening.

I'll also be able to log the messages from the Z3801A and whatever data I can dump from the Spectracom 8164 WWVB receiver.
