The potential ground loop via the RF cable connecting the OCXO output to the Fury board can be broken by using an RF transformer. This leaves (when the Fury and the interface board use separate supplies) the EFC cable ground as the only connection between the Fury and the interface board grounds. If the Fury board and the interface board share power supplies then a diff amp can be used to sense and correct for any volatage difference between the Fury EFC ground and the OCXO EFC ground pin.
