With my VE2ZAZ GPS Standard connected to the 2100F for 12 hours getting E09 -2.7 and -409.55 usec is this reasonable the E10 numbers from the cell site standards below looked better ? The cell site standards are not GPS and have not been calibrated in years. All have been powered up for weeks.
What I'm calling Cell site standards are a: Rubidium ED2R849 G4 - Frequency Generator Shelf Lucent/Efratom Frequency Generator 10 Mhz http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310033388427 and Ball Efratom MRK series rubidium frequency standard , USAF demil surplus model # 808-400-8 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130205512764 The VE2ZAZ GPS standard is using a Garmin 25LVC and Efratom 10MHz OCXO model # 105243-001. All in a climate controlled basement and the Efratom 10MHz OCXO is isolated with 2" of styrofoam. The display problem was real but it appears to work fine. Thanks Brooke Clarke his quick start for the 2100T works for the 2100F if you substitute "ACQ" key for "Master" key. Fixed 1/2 of the display problem pushing on the backside of the display but need to unsolder the back-light to remove and reset the display I think. Also have the key bounce problem with the tantalum caps, these small problems are very minor. Don't have the GPIB interface but the chart output looks like it outputs a voltage between 0-15 volts at the start with it tending toward the millivolts volts as it continues. One cell site Rubidium/Quartz standard getting to E10 4.7 to 5.0 overnight have another started today at E10 8. a little higher start than the first. Looking for some more info on operation and if setting the Time Constant to 3200GRIs is important ? Also have not set the total emission delay as I'm guessing it has no effect except with the 2100T.
