If you can find it, I would try something around 16" diameter with at least 1"
walls (deep dish). And round, none of that rectangular stuff. Mount the
antenna on the bottom side of the pan, with the walls/open side facing down...
sort of a single choke ring. A flat pan should also be OK. If you want to go
full choke ring style, find a set of nesting pans of decreasing diameter.
Rivet them together... they are probably aluminium and don't weld well.
