I do have a couple of M12+T, so I could try, but they are not pin or voltge compatable with the VP so it might require some surgery. However I do have a couple of UT+ which are and it should be a drop in replacement.

I think he was talking about simply wiring around the VPs 1 PPS output, getting the 1 PPS signal from a better source. Leave the VP receiver in place otherwise (so the Z3801A is blissfully unaware).
