I was looking for doc on the 527 a few months ago and finally got to the guy at Tracor who knew about it. He poinbted me to this guy:

I was looking for a manual for the 527E w/ schematics, but never got it. In comparing the parts list for the 527A and 527E, the ONLY difference as I remember was in 1 board... the one that drives the meter... and the front panel, of course. The other board part numbers are identical. The one board would be pretty straight forward to trace, IMO.
