I knew I was not the first :-) ! I was willing to sacrifice this one since it was marked intermittent and I have a total of five. Three of the other four are still in sealed bags.
As to powering up, I've not yet located any of the cables. I do have foggy memories of there being some at least 50' maybe 100'. Their GPS need was only 1 PPS, why the special I don't know.
