Are the other photos on line?

A friend who got a starloc ii at the same time says his is different too. (He 
doesn't have access to his box at the moment).

Comparing your photos with some I have archived the GPS module looks  to be 
an Oncore UT+, although some other Oncores may have looked  similar.
