Hi, The multiplier is a classic analog harmonic distortion multiplier to avoid to add phase noise with a PLL. The mixer is a two diode harmonic mixer, I suppose they use to drive it with 1/2 LO frequency due the old semiconductor thecnology available at the moment. I have the complete manual with schematic. I have dismounted the converter board from the antenna assembly and placed it in one U rackmount box than in my time and freq rack. Th antenna input is connected via a GPS antenna splitter to a classic patch antenna on the roof.
