A few years ago, I did a similar clock for use in the car, but using a 4 line lcd. I never thought about correcting it for the software delays- an excellent idea Bert, thanks. I guess I am going to have to do a bit of a re-write sometime soon. Thinking about it, I could just feed the 1pps into the pic and use that to trigger the display update but with one second added.
