You don't refute an experimental result by saying you can't explain it
with current Physics. You refute it with another experimental result,
or by pointing to a flaw in the experimental setup. The energy
spectrum as seen by OPERA contained many more events than this one of
ICARUS, so I don't see what's new about it. OTOH, if ICARUS can
publish time-tagged events from the last 500ns-spaced bunched beam
run, with an independent acquisition chain from that of OPERA, that
would be very interesting.
