Certainly it will work for two, likely for three but then you are getting into the area why you might need a distribution amplifier. Some people are using old video amplifiers but the bandwidth of those is marginal. I think you will want the terminate the line (50 ohms) after the last piece of equipment. Tapr's "tadd-1" is an example of a good distribution amp. It is no longer available but you can download and read the manual and see the schematic.
