Would be scared to attempt this anyway because I don't know how to set up a proper array of lightning rods / grounding / surge protection / etc. 2) salvaged power "cube" ... I don't really know what that means: typically I don't go mucking around with random electronics (salvaged or otherwise) unless it's something I understand and have experience with. Are there ready-made power supplies known to work with M12-type timing GPSes? The most wiring I really want to do is get a tool with which I can crimp some antenna cable and/or install adapters on the ends.
