Running it upside-down is by itself not an issue, but do expect that the frequency will shift when you turn it over and do expect that it will be starting a new drift period from the new frequency until it has relaxed.

Always be careful with isolation and thermal loading, as the oven loop can turn nasty on you if you are not careful.
