Greetings Time Nuts Group Members

A few quick questions regarding the Trimble Thunderbolt and similar GPSDO
unit power consumption.

I've obtained and currently use the Thunderbolt GPSDO having the case top
power connector requiring a triple output supply. Being very happy with the
operation and performance of the mentioned, I'd like to find one or two more.

However, the online auction prices for the Thunderbolt GPSDO model I like have
risen quite a bit.

As what I thought might be a possible price and availability alternative,
started
evaluating the Nortel NTBW50AA GPSTM GPS Timing Module.

The Nortel NTBW50AA GPSTM GPS Timing Module compared to the Thunderbolt
seems to be a bit of an "energy hog". I don't yet have enough information
to do a total comparison of other available GPSDO options.

Would any of you be able to provide a quick relative comparison about
relatively
common (surplus) GPSDO and similar type/function units? their real world
energy consumption?

The Nortel NTBW50AA GPSTM is nice but I'm not sure we'd want to park one
at a solar only location that didn't need what appears to be a mini space
heater.

Thank you in advance for your replies...

regards,
