In the last days, we've had problems with the cooling of
our server room, so I installed a temperature sensor
(http://www.digitemp.com/) and found an interesting
correlation between my NTP offset and the room
temperature:

I know that most people already knew that, but it's fun to see
empirical results.
Your plots nicely demonstrates usual sequence (prevailing for most of PC
clocks): temperature starts grow -> quarz dilatation -> frequency
decrease -> clock gets behind -> positive offset.
