Those particular ones come from a combination of ipfw rules
# inbound ntp packets
$fwcmd add 390 count udp from any to me 123 in recv $pub_nic
# outbound ntp packets
$fwcmd add 391 count udp from me 123 to any out xmit $pub_nic
a cronjob piping the output of ipfw -a list to a perl script, and
RRDTool (http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/).
