We can't, won't and shouldn't have that long TTLs -- it's bad enough that ntpd doesn't requery when an IP "goes bad". We shouldn't intentionally encourage the bad IPs to be cached... I'm sure the DNS load can be easily managed though - we don't get that many queries. - ask - -- http://develooper.com/ - http://askask.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQCVAwUBRkyTofkoKP1ixIspAQLEzgP/REtiELVbbH54S2M1//vb2f1Rx6+xevfm xP6wLj2murob8i4DwUA0gM05IqN8sh9S6ZnoPTlmw0bOITYyUxQpijaG2ZJYIDrl zTiBFP7yjHkXlnE7W4aPtep6y+jJE63qhXTFav58USHOS2cep7ilEJxpd5EibvjL fsXrUHwCDS0= =Flqv -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ timekeepers mailing list [email protected] https://fortytwo.ch/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/timekeepers
